Repeals section 1002.375, Florida Statutes, which authorized a pilot project allowing school districts to award alternative course credit for students enrolled in certain industry certification programs.

Amends section 1011.61, Florida Statutes, to remove the provision that calculated successfully completed credits under the alternative high school course credit requirements as 1/6 full-time equivalent (FTE).

Eliminates the FTE funding mechanism that previously applied to alternative credits earned outside of the standard 900 net hours of instruction.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
