CS/HB 5311 - Medicaid Services Summary

• Repeals sunset provisions on federal waiver coverage for persons age 65+ or with disabilities at 88% federal poverty level and on medically needy program coverage for pregnant women and children under 21

• Eliminates adult Medicaid optional coverage for chiropractic services and hearing services effective October 1, 2011

• Updates drug reimbursement formula to use lowest of: AWP minus 16.4%, WAC plus 3.75%, FUL, SMAC, or UAC (changed from 4.75% WAC threshold)

• Authorizes Agency for Health Care Administration to seek federal approval and implement home delivery of pharmacy products program through procurement

• Authorizes contracting with one private health care organization in Palm Beach County to provide Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly services with exemption from chapter 641, F.S., subject to appropriation for up to 150 initial enrollees
