Repeals section 16.61, Florida Statutes, which established the Cybercrime Office within the Department of Legal Affairs.

Creates a new Cybercrime Office within the Department of Law Enforcement authorized to investigate state law violations related to sexual exploitation of children facilitated by electronic devices.

Transfers all powers, duties, functions, records, personnel, property, contracts, and unexpended appropriations from the Department of Legal Affairs to the Department of Law Enforcement through a type two transfer.

Effective date is July 1, 2011.
