Amends section 112.3215, Florida Statutes to reorganize exemptions for Commission on Ethics audits and investigations from public records and public meetings requirements.

Records from audits and investigations conducted by the Commission on Ethics remain confidential and exempt from public disclosure under Florida law and the State Constitution.

Any portion of a meeting where an investigation or audit is discussed is exempt from public meetings requirements under Florida law and the State Constitution.

Exemptions terminate when a lobbying firm requests in writing that the investigation and records be made public, or when the Commission determines probable cause exists that the audit reflects a violation of reporting laws.

Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2011 and makes the exemptions permanent, effective October 1, 2011.
