Repeals subsection (3) of section 790.0601, Florida Statutes, which previously scheduled the repeal of a public records exemption.

Removes the scheduled sunset (automatic repeal) of an exemption that shields personal identifying information of applicants for and holders of concealed weapon or firearm licenses from public records requirements.

Makes the public records exemption permanent by eliminating its expiration date under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Effective date: October 1, 2011.
