The Florida House of Representatives honors Daryl Parks as President-Elect of the National Bar Association, an office he will assume in 2011.

Daryl Parks was elected to the position during the National Bar Association's 85th Annual Convention held in New Orleans in August 2010.

The National Bar Association, founded in 1925, represents over 20,000 lawyers, judges, educators, and law students and is the nation's oldest and largest association of predominantly African-American legal professionals.

Parks is a founding and managing partner of Parks & Crump, LLC, and serves on the boards of the Florida Justice Association, Tallahassee Urban League, Leon County Sickle Cell Foundation, and Florida A & M University Foundation.

The House recognizes Parks' outstanding achievements and congratulates him on his election to the National Bar Association's highest office.
