Authorizes North Broward Hospital District to pay $608,554.78 to Charles Pandrea as compensation for the death of his wife Janet Pandrea resulting from medical negligence.

Janet Pandrea died on April 2, 2002, after being misdiagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma when she actually had a benign thymoma, leading to unnecessary chemotherapy and complications.

A Broward County jury returned a verdict of $808,554.78 against North Broward Hospital District on June 8, 2005, and the district has already paid the statutory limit of $200,000 under Florida law.

Limits attorney's fees, lobbying fees, costs, and similar expenses to no more than 25 percent of the $608,554.78 award.

Establishes this payment as sole compensation for all present and future claims arising from Janet Pandrea's death.
