Eliminates the statewide septic tank evaluation program that required the Department of Health to evaluate onsite sewage systems every 5 years and identify system failures.

Removes the mandatory evaluation procedures, tank and drainfield inspection requirements, pump-out standards, and compliance deadlines (previously set for January 1, 2016 statewide implementation).

Eliminates the evaluation report fee (previously $15-$30) that was collected by evaluators and partially funded the grant program for septic system repairs.

Repeals the grant program for repair of onsite sewage treatment disposal systems that was funded through evaluation report fees.

Maintains Department of Health authority to issue permits for construction, installation, modification, and repair of septic systems and to enforce compliance through citations.
