Requires all mammography reports provided to patients include information about breast density based on the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System established by the American College of Radiology.

Mandates that mammography reports include a specific notice informing patients with dense breast tissue that they might benefit from supplementary screening tests such as breast ultrasound or breast MRI.

Applies requirements to all accident and health insurance policies, group insurance policies, and health maintenance organizations that provide mammogram coverage.

Effective date is October 1, 2011.
