Defines "barbering intern" as a student enrolled in a 1,200-hour barbering program participating in an optional work experience internship under direct supervision of a licensed barber, and "internship sponsor" as a licensed barber registered to supervise interns.

Requires schools of barbering or barbering programs to select and place interns, determine eligibility, provide written notice to the Barbers' Board, and limit internships to a maximum of 12 months.

Requires internship sponsors to obtain approval from a barbering school or program, register with the board, actively supervise interns, ensure compliance with barbering laws and rules, and post notice that student interns are providing services.

Requires barbering interns to possess written authorization from their school or program before practicing barbering and to furnish documentation to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation upon request.

Authorizes the Barbers' Board to establish rules for internship requirements, permits barbering services by interns under supervision, sets internship sponsor registration fees at no more than $30, and allows the board to terminate internships or sponsorships for violations.
