Revises job classifications for Department of Juvenile Justice employees whose identification and location information is exempt from public records disclosure to reflect current departmental titles.

Removes outdated job titles including "senior juvenile detention officers," "house parents," and "group treatment leaders," replacing them with current titles such as "juvenile justice detention officers I and II," "juvenile justice residential officers," and "juvenile justice counselors."

Eliminates the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2011 for the public records exemption covering DJJ employees and their family members, making the exemption permanent.

Maintains exemption status for home addresses, telephone numbers, photographs, social security numbers, and employment information of DJJ employees and their spouses and children, as well as names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by their children.

Takes effect October 1, 2011.
