Amends section 119.071, Florida Statutes to permanently exempt biometric identification information from public records requirements.

Defines biometric identification information as friction ridge detail, fingerprints, palm prints, and footprints held by a government agency.

Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2011 that was established under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Makes the biometric information exemption permanent by eliminating its sunset provision, preventing automatic repeal unless the Legislature takes future action.

Effective date is October 1, 2011.
