Exempts personal identifying information of individuals who applied for or received a concealed weapons license from public records requirements under Florida law.

Allows disclosure of this information only with written consent of the applicant or licensee, by court order upon good cause, or to law enforcement agencies performing lawful duties.

Removes the scheduled October 2, 2011 repeal date that would have occurred under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Makes the public records exemption permanent rather than subject to periodic legislative review and reauthorization.

Effective date is October 1, 2011.
