Expands the definition of "missing endangered person" to include adults who meet criteria for activation of the Silver Alert Plan established by the Department of Law Enforcement.

Provides civil liability immunity and a presumption of good faith for law enforcement agencies, media representatives, communications service dealers, and other entities that release Silver Alert information at the request of the law enforcement agency having jurisdiction.

Specifies that only the law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over a case may request activation of a state Silver Alert for a missing adult meeting Silver Alert Plan criteria.

Clarifies that incomplete or incorrect information, or technical errors, do not overcome the presumption of good faith when releasing Silver Alert information that was based on information from the requesting law enforcement agency.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
