Repeals section 400.0074, Florida Statutes, which required local ombudsman councils to conduct onsite administrative assessments of long-term care facilities.

Removes a cross-reference to section 400.0074(2) from section 400.0067(2)(b), which addresses the state council's appellate procedures for complaints not resolved at the local level.

Deletes provisions from section 400.0069(3) authorizing local ombudsman council members to enter long-term care facilities without notice or warrant, subject to conditions previously specified in section 400.0074(2).

Renumbers subsections (4) through (9) of section 400.0069 to subsections (3) through (8) as a conforming change.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
