Remove authority for the Agency for Health Care Administration to deny licenses to applicants or controlling interests with 25% or greater financial or ownership stakes in other facilities that closed, had receivers appointed, had licenses denied/suspended/revoked, faced moratoriums, or had injunctive proceedings during the 5 years prior to application.

Eliminate requirement for the Agency for Health Care Administration to provide monthly lists to the Division of Hotels and Restaurants regarding assisted living facilities with denied, suspended, or revoked licenses or those involved in appellate proceedings related to license denials, suspensions, or revocations.

Renumber subsections (4), (5), and (7) of section 429.14, Florida Statutes as subsections (3), (4), and (5) due to removal of subsection (3).

Effective date: July 1, 2011.
