District school boards must designate one month of the school year to celebrate the Founding Fathers and the principles in the country's founding documents, which may be coordinated with Celebrate Freedom Week.

During the designated month, instruction must focus on leading founding figures, their moral and civic virtues, the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Federalist Papers.

Students shall learn the historical and philosophical importance of the Declaration of Independence and principles including individual freedom, limited representative government, free market economy, civic virtue, national sovereignty, and natural law.

Schools may integrate this instruction into existing curriculum through supplementing lesson plans, holding assemblies, or providing school-related activities.
