Authorizes county commissioners, clerks of circuit court, county comptrollers, sheriffs, supervisors of elections, property appraisers, and tax collectors to voluntarily reduce their statutory salaries.

Allows each official to reduce their salary rate on a voluntary basis notwithstanding existing statutory compensation provisions and s. 145.19.

Does not change the existing salary schedules or special qualification bonuses ($2,000 per year) for certified officials.

Applies to all population groups and salary tiers established under Florida Statutes sections 145.031, 145.051, 145.071, 145.09, 145.10, and 145.11.

Effective date: July 1, 2011.
