Prohibits the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and other state agencies from requiring compliance with liquefied petroleum gas tank separation distance standards unless they follow the 2011 edition of NFPA 58.

Applies minimum separation distances for liquefied petroleum gas tanks from buildings, property lines, other tanks, and ignition sources as specified in the 2011 edition of NFPA 58.

Sunset provision: The separation distance requirements expire when the department, Florida Building Commission, and Office of State Fire Marshal adopt and implement rules incorporating the 2011 NFPA 58 standards.

Updates the definition of "propane" in the Florida Propane Gas Education, Safety, and Research Act to reference NFPA Standard 58 as the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code.

Effective date: July 1, 2011.
