Mandates that every public school in Florida maintain an operational AED on school grounds and requires employees and volunteers expected to use the device to complete cardiopulmonary resuscitation or basic first aid training.

Defines "place of public assembly" as educational facilities used as emergency shelters or locations with 1,000+ seating capacity (stadiums, arenas, concert halls, theaters), while excluding churches, synagogues, and public libraries.
