FL S1220

Creates an exception to concealed weapons/firearms licensing requirements for servicemembers and honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Forces, allowing them to be issued licenses regardless of age or U.S. residency restrictions.

Permits the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to accept fingerprints from applicants who are servicemembers or veterans when administered by law enforcement agencies, military provosts, or other military units with law enforcement duties.

Allows otherwise qualified applicants to obtain concealed weapon or firearm licenses under the existing s. 790.06 provisions, with the age and residency restrictions waived for military members and honorably discharged veterans.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
