Allows boards or departments to issue temporary professional licenses to spouses of active duty Armed Forces members who hold valid licenses in other states and are not subject to disciplinary proceedings.

Temporary license requires proof of marriage to active duty military member, assignment of spouse to a Florida duty station, and criminal history checks through state and federal agencies.

Temporary license expires 12 months after issuance and is not renewable; applicants must pay application fees and fingerprint processing costs.

Applicants are ineligible if they have felony or misdemeanor convictions related to health care practice, revoked or suspended licenses, National Practitioner Data Bank reports, or previous failures of Florida licensing exams.

Names temporary certificates for physicians practicing in areas of critical need after Rear Admiral LeRoy Collins, Jr.; takes effect July 1, 2011.
