Extends workers' compensation coverage to Florida employees who temporarily leave the state for work-related reasons, providing benefits as if injured within Florida.

Exempts out-of-state employees and their employers from Florida workers' compensation law if the employer carries workers' compensation insurance in their home state and that state recognizes reciprocal extraterritorial coverage.

Makes workers' compensation benefits from another state the exclusive remedy against the employer for injuries sustained while temporarily working in Florida.

Requires compensation paid under another state's workers' compensation law to be credited against benefits owed under Florida law for the same injury.

Defines temporary work as no more than 10 consecutive days or 25 total days during a calendar year, effective July 1, 2011.
