Exempts information held by the Office of Financial Regulation that is received from another state or federal agency and is confidential or exempt under that agency's laws from Florida public records requirements.

Exempts information received or developed by the Office of Financial Regulation as part of joint or multiagency examinations or investigations with other state or federal agencies, subject to conditions in interagency agreements.

Clarifies that the joint or multiagency investigation exemption does not apply to information that would be publicly available if the office had conducted an independent examination under Florida law.

Applies retroactively to information held by the office before, on, or after July 1, 2011.

Sunsets on October 2, 2016, unless the Legislature reenacts the exemption to preserve it from repeal under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.
