Repeals all provisions of chapter 289, Florida Statutes relating to the Florida Industrial Development Corporation.

Removes the Florida Industrial Development Corporation from the list of eligible sponsors under the community contribution tax credit programs in sections 212.08 and 220.183.

Removes reference to chapter 289 corporations from the definition of "bank" in section 220.62.

Deletes provision in section 440.491 referencing chapter 289 regarding workers' compensation reemployment services.

Removes provision in section 658.67 allowing banks to invest up to 1 percent of capital accounts in stock of the Florida Industrial Development Corporation; effective July 1, 2011.
