Amends Florida law to allow persons holding concealed weapons licenses who are county commissioners, school board members, or county constitutional officers to carry concealed weapons in locations otherwise prohibited by law.

Exemption applies only while the person holds such office and does not override federal firearm restrictions.

Prohibited locations for concealed weapons licensees include police stations, courthouses, schools, colleges, universities, airports, legislative meetings, and establishments serving alcohol.

Violating concealed weapons restrictions remains a second-degree misdemeanor.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
