Defines "medically accurate information" as information supported by research conducted using generally accepted scientific methods and recognized as accurate by leading professional organizations.

Mandates the Department of Education develop the coursework with input from teachers, school administrators, students, parents, and medical professionals, to be taught uniformly across all school districts.

Allows students to opt out of human sexuality or sexually transmitted disease instruction if a parent submits a written request to the school principal, with no penalty to the student.

Makes resource packets containing course content available to students upon request through school guidance counselors after informing students of the packet contents.
