Proposes constitutional amendment to Article IX, Section 7 requiring the Governor to appoint a state university student body president to the Board of Governors of the State University System.

Requires one of the fourteen citizen members appointed by the Governor to be a state university student body president, subject to Senate confirmation.

Removes the requirement that the president of the Florida Student Association, or equivalent, serve as a Board member.

Amendment must be submitted to Florida voters for approval at the next general election or earlier special election authorized by law.

Changes the grammatical connection between the commissioner of education and the chair of the advisory council of faculty senates in the Board composition language.
