Exempts trade secrets and proprietary confidential business information held by the Destination Resort Commission from public records disclosure requirements under Florida Statutes s. 119.07(1) and the State Constitution.

Defines "proprietary confidential business information" to include business plans, internal auditing controls, and external auditor reports for privately held companies submitted by applicants or licensees under the Destination Resort Act.

Exempts information that would reveal investigation techniques and procedures used by the Destination Resort Commission to evaluate regulatory compliance and document violations, but allows disclosure to other governmental entities with oversight, regulatory, or law enforcement authority.

Establishes a second-degree misdemeanor penalty for Destination Resort Commission employees who violate the confidentiality provisions.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and requires legislative reenactment by October 2, 2016 to prevent automatic repeal; takes effect contingent upon enactment of related legislation by a two-thirds vote of both legislative houses.
