Repeals section 1002.375 of Florida Statutes, which authorized a pilot project allowing school districts to award alternative course credit for students in certain industry certification programs.

Removes language from section 1011.61(1)(c)1.(VI) that calculated successfully completed credits earned under the alternative high school course credit program as 1/6 full-time equivalent (FTE) student membership.

Eliminates the financial incentive mechanism that previously counted alternative industry certification credits toward state education funding calculations.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
