Eliminates base salary structure for district school board members and replaces it with a maximum $100 stipend per school board meeting, capped at $2,400 annually.

Stipends do not count as compensation for retirement purposes, and board members must otherwise serve without additional compensation.

Allows district school board members to receive reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with existing travel reimbursement law.

Removes section 1001.395 from salary adjustment provisions in section 145.19, eliminating automatic annual salary increases for board members.

Amendments apply only to district school board members elected or reelected in the 2012 general election and thereafter, effective July 1, 2011.
