Authorizes landowners to use purple paint marks as an alternative method to post "no trespassing" areas on their property.

Purple paint marks must be vertical lines at least 8 inches long and 1 inch wide, positioned 3-5 feet from the ground, and placed no more than 100 feet apart.

Requires that purple paint marks be accompanied by standard "no trespassing" signs placed at all known or expected entry points to the property.

Reenacts related statutes on liability for private greenway and trail landowners and trespassing on construction sites to incorporate the new purple paint marking option.

Effective date is July 1, 2012.
