Requires school grades beginning with the 2012-2013 school year to include the participation rate of students enrolled in fine arts courses (visual arts, music, dance, and theatre) for schools with any grades kindergarten through 12

Amends s. 1008.34, Florida Statutes to add fine arts participation as a metric in the school grading system alongside existing achievement and learning gain measures

Corrects terminology by changing "hospital-designated" to "who are hospitalized" and "hospital- or homebound" to "hospital/homebound" in references to student assessment data

Updates subsection (c) to specify that student assessment data "and participation rates" be used in determining school grades

Takes effect July 1, 2012
