Renames and renumbers obsolete subsections in Florida Statutes sections relating to the Department of Juvenile Justice, deleting references to outdated programs.

Creates a new definition for "mother-infant program" as a residential program for juvenile mothers or expectant mothers committed as delinquents, which must be licensed as a child care facility and allow infants to accompany participants.

Authorizes the Department of Juvenile Justice secretary to pay up to $5,000 toward basic funeral expenses for youth who die in department custody if parents or guardians are indigent and no other funding is available.

Updates the juvenile justice continuum definition to include mother-infant programs and removes references to obsolete programs.

Conforms cross-references throughout juvenile justice statutes to reflect definitional changes and renumbering of subsections.

Effective date: July 1, 2012.
