• Makes compliance with the State Uniform Building Code for Public Educational Facilities Construction optional for school districts while removing restrictions on elementary school resource rooms and skills labs.

• Revises physical education requirements for elementary students by removing the requirement that physical education must include at least 30 consecutive minutes per day when instruction is conducted.
