Requires physicians and osteopathic physicians performing liposuction procedures that remove more than 1,000 cubic centimeters of supernatant fat, level 2 procedures lasting more than 5 minutes, and all level 3 surgical procedures in office settings to register the office with the Department of Health, unless the office is licensed as a facility under chapter 395.

Mandates annual inspections of registered physician offices by the Department of Health, unless the office holds accreditation from a nationally recognized accrediting agency or organization approved by the Board of Medicine or Board of Osteopathic Medicine.

Requires physicians seeking to register and operate office settings where office surgery is performed to pay the actual costs for registration, inspection, or accreditation.

Applies the same registration and inspection requirements to both the Board of Medicine (section 458.309) and the Board of Osteopathic Medicine (section 459.005).

Takes effect upon becoming law.
