Repeals Florida Statutes sections establishing fixed court terms for the Supreme Court, district courts of appeal, all 20 circuit courts, and related mandatory attendance and procedural requirements for judges and court officers.

Creates new section 43.43 allowing the Supreme Court to establish, authorize lower courts to establish, or dispense entirely with terms of court for all three court levels.

Creates new section 43.44 allowing appellate courts to recall and modify their own mandates within 120 days of issuance for purposes of correcting errors.

Amends 14 Florida Statutes sections to remove references to "term of court" and replace with "session" or remove temporal restrictions on court proceedings and witness attendance.

Takes effect January 1, 2013.
