Amends Florida Statutes section 695.01 to require liens imposed by governmental or quasi-governmental entities on real property to be recorded in county official records to be valid against creditors and subsequent purchasers

Applies to liens for improvements, services, fines, or penalties, excluding liens for taxes, non-ad valorem assessments, special assessments, or utilities

Recorded notice of lien must contain the owner's name, property description or address, and the tax or parcel identification number as of the recording date

Takes effect July 1, 2012
