Creates a public records exemption for personal identifying information (name, age, and location) of children permanently residing with registered sexual offenders or sexual predators held by sheriff's offices, the Department of Law Enforcement, and the Department of Corrections

Allows the sheriff's office, Department of Law Enforcement, and Department of Corrections to share information regarding residences of sexual offenders or sexual predators and instances of them permanently residing with children

Establishes that the exemption is necessary to protect child safety, finding that disclosure would jeopardize the health and safety of affected children

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act with automatic repeal on October 2, 2017, unless reenacted by the Legislature

Takes effect contingent upon HB 731 or similar legislation being enacted and becoming law
