Amends section 110.1522, Florida Statutes, to require the Department of Management Services to develop a model rule for family support personnel policies in executive branch agencies (excluding State University System)

Requires the model rule to include up to 12 months of leave for employees with a family member having a serious health condition, as defined by the Family and Medical Leave Act and its implementing regulations

Defines family support personnel policies to include flexible schedules, compressed work time, job sharing, part-time employment, maternity/paternity leave, and paid/unpaid family or administrative leave

Effective date is July 1, 2012
