Extends the period for requisitioning and maintaining inventory of instructional materials in core courses from 2 years to 4 years of the adoption cycle.

Allows publishers to maintain full inventory and fill orders during the 5th year of the contract period instead of the 3rd and subsequent years for growth and replacement needs.

Restricts the use of instructional materials allocation funds for non-state-adopted materials to items aligned with Next Generation Sunshine State Standards that substitute for state-adopted core course materials.

Corrects a cross-reference in the pilot program for electronic and digital instructional materials from section 1006.40(2)(a) to 1006.40(3)(a).

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
