Prohibits carrying handguns, concealed weapons, or firearms into the Broward County Governmental Center, Broward County Governmental Center West, K.C. Wright Building (school board administrative offices), and municipal administrative buildings designated by resolution in Broward County municipalities.

Requires prominent signs at each public entrance of covered buildings announcing that carrying handguns or concealed weapons or firearms is unlawful.

Classifies violations as criminal misdemeanors punishable under general law (Florida Statutes section 775.08).

Exempts law enforcement officers as defined in Florida Statutes section 790.001(8) from the prohibition when carrying weapons in the normal performance of duty or as otherwise authorized by law.

Makes this act supersede any conflicting provisions of Florida Statutes section 790.33 or other general law; takes effect upon becoming law.
