Creates the Florida Statewide Task Force on an Unexplained Rise in the Killings of Law Enforcement Officers within the Department of Legal Affairs to examine rising deaths of law enforcement officers, including those caused by fatal blows to the head.

Task force membership includes the Attorney General (chair), executive director of the Department of Law Enforcement, executive director of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, director of the Division of Highway Patrol, and representatives from the Florida Sheriffs Association and Police Benevolent Association.

Task force must hold its organizational session by May 1, 2012, with a majority of members constituting a quorum.

Task force shall collect and organize data on attacks against law enforcement officers and provide policy recommendations to address the dangers.

Task force must submit a report on its findings to the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives by January 15, 2013.
