Repeals section 627.745 of Florida Statutes, which established requirements and procedures for mediation of motor vehicle insurance claims for personal injury below a specified amount or property damage of any amount

Eliminates all requirements, procedures, and processes related to filing mediation requests with the Department of Financial Services for motor vehicle injury and damage claims

Amends section 627.7015 to remove the reference to section 627.745 regarding mediator qualifications in property insurance mediation programs

Allows the Department of Financial Services to continue establishing mediator qualifications based on Florida Rules of Certified and Court Appointed Mediators and other education, training, or experience standards

Takes effect July 1, 2012
