Repeals section 627.7015 of Florida Statutes, eliminating the Department of Financial Services' nonadversarial property insurance mediation program for resolving disputed property insurance claims.

Removes all requirements, procedures, and processes associated with the repealed mediation program.

Amends section 627.7074 to clarify that neutral evaluation supersedes the alternative dispute resolution process under the now-repealed section 627.7015 for sinkhole insurance claims.

Maintains that neutral evaluation does not invalidate the appraisal clause of insurance policies.

Effective date: July 1, 2012.
