HB 7009 Summary

• Repeals 11 expired or inoperative statutory provisions from the Florida Statutes that expired between June 30, 2011 and July 1, 2011, including provisions related to federal stimulus funding, transportation funding, workforce boards, and various agency programs

• Amends section 373.079(4)(a) to delete subparagraph 2 regarding governing board member restrictions on permit applications, which expired June 1, 2011

• Amends section 1004.648(12) to conform a cross-reference by updating it from section 1004.226(4) to "Florida Statutes 2006" following the repeal of section 1004.226

• Repeals section 1004.226 (21st Century Technology, Research, and Scholarship Enhancement Act), which was previously repealed in 2006 but not removed from the statutes

• Takes effect 60 days after adjournment sine die of the 2012 legislative session
