Amends section 267.1736, Florida Statutes, to revise the public records exemption for donor information to the University of Florida's direct-support organization assisting with historic preservation of St. Augustine.

Simplifies language by removing redundancy, making "the identity of a donor or prospective donor" the primary reference instead of repeating "all information identifying such donor or prospective donor."

Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2012, making the donor confidentiality exemption permanent rather than subject to sunset review under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Maintains that donors and prospective donors who desire anonymity remain confidential and exempt from public records requirements, with anonymity preserved in auditor reports.

Takes effect October 1, 2012.
