Amends Section 338.155, Florida Statutes to revise the public records exemption for personal identifying information held by the Department of Transportation, counties, or expressway authorities for toll collection purposes.

Exempts personal identifying information provided to, acquired by, or possessed by toll authorities for paying, prepaying, or collecting tolls and associated administrative charges from public records disclosure requirements.

Makes the exemption subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and sets an automatic repeal date of October 2, 2017, unless the Legislature reenacts it.

Declares a public necessity finding that the exemption protects individual privacy and safety by keeping toll road usage location and financial information confidential, while promoting use of electronic toll collection systems.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
