Recognizes Daryl Parks for his outstanding achievements as President of the National Bar Association, an office he assumed in 2011 after being elected in August 2010.

The National Bar Association, founded in 1925, represents over 20,000 lawyers, judges, educators, and law students and is the nation's oldest and largest national association of predominantly African-American legal professionals.

Parks is a founding and managing partner of Parks & Crump, LLC, Florida A&M University alumnus with bachelor's degrees in political science and economics, and holds a Juris Doctorate from Florida State University's College of Law.

Currently serves on the Boards of Directors for the Florida Justice Association, Tallahassee Urban League, Leon County Sickle Cell Foundation, and Florida A&M University Foundation.

Orders that a copy of the resolution be presented to Daryl Parks as recognition of his leadership in fostering relationships within the National Bar Association and improving the administration of justice.
