Designates June 2012 as "Caribbean Heritage Month" in Florida to honor the cultural and historical contributions of Caribbean Americans.

Recognizes notable Caribbean Americans and their descendants who have achieved prominence, including W.E.B. Du Bois, Alexander Hamilton, Colin Powell, Sidney Poitier, and Harry Belafonte.

Acknowledges Caribbean American political achievements, including Jennifer Carroll's election as Florida's first Caribbean American Lieutenant Governor, Phillip Brutus as the first Haitian-American member of the Florida Legislature, and Hazelle Rogers as the first Jamaican-American member of the Florida Legislature.

Notes that 2012 marks the 50th Anniversary of Independence for Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.

Encourages communities and individuals throughout Florida and the nation to honor cultural and historical bonds and recognize America's strength in its diversity.
